"Fantastic brunch at Buddy Veggy Restaurant Café! What an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, the service was wonderful. Everyone was incredibly kind, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. You can feel the good vibes right away. The vegan dishes were delicious across the board. The tofu sandwich was divine, perfectly balanced and full of flavor. But the real star of the show was the Buddha bowl. Chickpeas, broccoli, black rice, fresh vegetables and scrambled eggs all coming together in a bowl so good it completely stole our hearts Everything was fresh, comforting, and made with care. The kind of brunch that makes you smile while eating and miss it as soon as you leave. Amazing food, lovely people, and a place we’ll happily return to. Highly recommended"
"This is a vegan and vegetarian friendly restaurant along Corso Vittorio Emanuelle II just across from Basilica di Sant'Andrea della Valle. They have a fair-sized indoor seating area as well as outdoor tables. Opening hours are 9am to 11pm (weekends) and 10am to 11pm (weekdays). Menu features a range of salads, pastas and other Italian dishes prepared suitable for those seeking plant-based dining options around the city. We had lunch here during a recent visit to Rome and found our meal to be pretty good. Impossible Meat based meatballs had really good texture, tasted nice. Cacio e pepe pasta was decent, pasta was perfect, the vegan cheese was fine, serving needed much more pepper though. The Asian style Buddha Bowl was a nice serving of fresh veg. Enjoyed this dish the most of the three. Service friendly, prices reasonable for veggie and vegan dining. Would be happy to eat here again when seeking healthy, plant-based dining around Rome."
"First vegan spot in Rome and left a great impression. The menu had variety and quality, service was polite and quick. We had the bruschetta with scrambled tofu as starters with mozzarella sticks, pasta with vegan sausage and mushroom in thyme sauce and pumpkin soup for mains. Delicious! Also had the tiramisu as a takeaway desert. Very good portion sizes, you will not leave still hungry"
"It’s a really tasty and delightful vegan restaurant, perfect when we got tired of eating kebabs and other usual options. We opted for this place and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious Italian food served. The location was easy to spot, the ambiance was warm and inviting, and the overall experience was excellent. Prices were reasonable for the quality and portions. We enjoyed it so much that we visited twice during our stay and would definitely recommend it."
"Came here for dinner and we had a really nice time! Very cute atmosphere and the staff were very attentive and kind. We both ordered one of their bowls and both of those were really delicious. I also really appreciated the water being part of the service fee!"
"Last time in Rome, I explored several vegan restaurants, but this time I returned only to Buddy. <3 The good thing is that there were four of us so we tried almost the entire menu. Buddy is a restaurant with vegan dishes inspired by traditional Italian cuisine. We had pasta carbonara and amatriciana. I think I would give a slight edge to the amatriciana. The lasagna was so good that my brother ate it every day. The Caesar salad was delicious! The vegan chicken was so tasty, nicely breaded and crispy. The avocado tartare and focaccia – no mistakes there. On the second day, we came to try the pinsa, traditional Roman pizza, which is actually older than round pizza. The portions are generous, and everything is seasoned to perfection. We also came for breakfast to try the vegan scrambled eggs. It needed a bit of black salt for a more egg-like flavor, but the texture was amazing. We finished with three portions of pancakes: soft, juicy, sweet. We also had an avocado sandwich. Breakfast for the four of us cost 40 euros. Lunch and dinner ranged from 40 to 60 euros. I think that’s not much, considering you get such delicious food, just a stone’s throw from the Temple of All Gods, the Pantheon."
"Came here for our last day in Rome - the food and service did not disappoint! Food was sooo delicious and we left feeling satisfied! I got the vegan chicken burger (which i highly recommend) the staff were very accommodating and attentive"
"I was in Rome for two days only and discovered this restaurant - and from the first moment, I couldn’t leave. Even though Rome offers endless dining options, I chose to return here for every single meal, simply because everything was perfect. The food is outstanding: delicious, beautifully plated, fresh, nourishing, and made from high-quality ingredients. The dishes came out extremely fast, the wine arrived right away, and the entire place has a warm, inviting, beautifully designed atmosphere that makes you want to stay. The service was wonderful - kind, attentive, and incredibly efficient. Truly some of the quickest and friendliest service I’ve experienced. Even if you’re not vegan, you will love this place. It’s one of those rare restaurants where the food is so vibrant, flavorful, and well-crafted that anyone can enjoy it - vegan or not. Whether you’re looking for something healthy, comforting, beautifully made, or simply really delicious, this is the ultimate spot. I’m grateful for the heart and effort behind this restaurant, and I can’t wait to come back and continue trying more of their amazing menu. Thank you dear Buddy Veggy team for making this world a better place"
